Pakistan is indeed chock-full of virtually unbelievable wildlife due to its unique topography and climatic conditions. Its total species numbers run into more than 668 species of wildlife, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish-from the rare snow leopards to the majestic Indus dolphins.
Habitats and Ecosystems:
The diverse landscape of Pakistan supports various habitats,
which include the following:-
1. Snow leopards of Himalayas, Himalayan brown bears, ibex.
2. Indus River Delta-one of the largest breeding grounds for dolphins, crocodiles, and migratory birds.
3. Thar Desert-chinkaras, blackbucks, spiny-tailed lizards.
4. Northern Plains- Punjab urials, hog deer, jackals.
Super Species of Pakistan:
1. Snow Leopard:
