Climate Change in Pakistan: An Emerging Threat:
The land that pertains to Pakistan falls within the South Asian region, which is more or less on the higher side regarding climatic variations mainly due to climate change. The geographical characteristics from mountains to deserts place the country on the edge of extreme climatic activities. Climatic change would soar temperatures, alternate rainfalls, and frequent disasters directly challenging Pakistan's environment, economy, and human welfare.
Sources of Climate Change in Pakistan
1. Greenhouse gas emissions: the country had high population growth rate, which causes fast industrialization and led to carbon emission
2. Deforestation: Deforestation mainly for agricultural purposes, fuel wood, and urbanization that has led to a declining forest cover in Pakistan
3. Pollution: Industrial and vehicular emissions are dangerous pollutants resulting in climate change as well.
